How to Participate
1) Donate AT LEAST $50 USD / $70 CAD to No More Deaths/No Más Muertes or Crips for eSims for Gaza (or split your donation between both!). Please note the latter is in CAD. If you are familiar with the eSims for Gaza process, feel free to buy and donate directly through them, as well (see FAQ).
2) Take screenshots of confirmation email/page(s) with the DATE and AMOUNT. Donation MUST be dated between April 12th 2024 and now.
3) Choose a time, fill out the intake, and attach your screenshots.
4) Check for a confirmation email and watch for any followup emails!

Who are these organizations?
No More Deaths/No Más Muertes is a direct aid organization whose “mission is to prevent the death, disappearance and suffering of migrants in the Arizona borderlands.” Due to the jurisdictional crisis and increased military presence at the border in Texas, border areas have gotten busier further West through Arizona and California, and No More Deaths is one of the main volunteer-driven initiatives offering prevention and harm reduction services.
Donations to No More Deaths go toward supplies such as water drops, food, underwear, cold and rain weather gear, as well as supporting volunteer-driven legal aid and health services. What began as an autonomous coalition of faith and community groups is now a ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tucson, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and thus your donation is tax deductible. Crips for eSims for Gaza is a grassroots initiative that supports getting essential eSims in the hands of those who need them in Gaza, spearheaded by Jane Shi, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, and Alice Wong. For folks in communication blackout in Gaza, eSims are an essential link to share news and updates, keep in contact with family and the world, direct advocacy efforts from on-the-ground, and provide documentation of genocide. With a disability justice ethos, Crips for eSims for Gaza pools smaller amounts of money to make a bigger impact and makes the process of donating eSims more accessible. The initiative supported by Crips for eSims for Gaza is eSims for Gaza run by Mirna El Helbawi. eSims for Gaza fields requests for eSims from those in Gaza, including but not limited to journalists and healthcare workers, and accepts and forwards donated eSims to them.
